MORE Ways to Get Your RSS Feeds
OK guys - Here is another way to get your RSS feeds.
This post : http://www.tm-xray.com/thread-1195.html brought to my attention that we need feeds for latest posts as well as threads.

Unfortunately I cannot make it as selective as the original feed picker so you'll have to subscribe to ALL new posts using this alternate method.

This only works for browser based feed grabs!

Instructions:

  1. Open your browser
  2. Select the RSS icon in your browser's Address Bar (see image) note: some browsers have this icon elsewhere
  3. In the drop down menu, select either latest posts or latest threads in your preferred reader. (see image)

If you're using an RSS feeder that is not attached to your browser - I do not know how to help you. Sorry.

Woo hoo! This seems to work, even in Apple Mail, which also reads RSS. Thanks!

I just posted a reply to a thread in a private forum, and it was immediately distributed via RSS.

I do have one concern. Can someone who doesn't have access to the private forums still get private forum threads distributed via RSS?

Thanks,
Gud

It will still follow the same rules for member permission. So, only things that are viewable as a guest should only be readable. The rest you'd have to log in for I imagine.

I'll log out and subscribe to the thing and see.
