DONE - READ -Site Update Coming in the next couple of weeks

There is a new software update out for this site.

I will be updating us sometime over the next few weeks. Due to the holidays and my hectic schedule, I cannot pinpoint an exact date I'll be free to do this.

I will need to close the board for a couple of hours for this update. If you visit the site and see it closed, I guess you can consider that your notification of the upgrade in progress!

One nice new feature of this update is a fix to the last post link in the latest threads on the side boxes! It will now be 'clickable' and actually take you to the last post instead of the first one in the thread. Very nice if you don't want to slog through a multiple page topic you've already read to look for the posts you haven't!

Not yet. He's honestly still working on it too. This update is a core system update and not for extras like plugins. The IM feature will be a plugin.

Last post wording in the latest threads box on the side is now clickable to take you to the last read thread by you.

BFBC2 plugin updated. YOU MAY HAVE TO INPUT YOUR INFO AGAIN TO MAKE IT SHOW. See the Thread about this in this forum if you don't know where the setting is.
Welcome PM and Welcome Email are now combined into one setting.

Chat room:

Just kill me - please. This script is F*cked. It's the same room I use on my site and I"ve killed it off.
I uploaded all new files and reinstalled the board into a new folder. I can now get into the room but I can't get into the admin panel there to complete the settings.

Any admin who wants to go in there and set the room names and other things, please shoot me a PM and I'll give you the link to the chat room ACP.

Apparently it's a one or the other thing for me. I spent hours on this and can't get it right. I have Dylan chipping away at a new room for me. I'll install that one here once we test it and work out the kinks. I have one now on my site but you can only have one room. You can go into "private" rooms by invite - that means these private rooms are not visible but are the user name of those logged in. That is the 'private' room. Neutron you can test all that stuff on my site with me if you want to switch to it temporarily until I get a good room.

Dylan is very busy with a few mergers with me and my stuff comes last :(
